Money Mondays - Insurance

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Description

In 1871, the Kansas Legislature established a Department of Insurance, long before most states regulated investments and insurance after the stock market crash of 1929 and the Great Depression that followed. Lee Modesitt, Director of Government Affairs, will talk about why insurance is a “must have expense” and give tips for taking some of the mystery out of researching what you need to know when buying insurance for your home and auto. Terms such as: replacement cost, actual cash value (of a vehicle, for example), and collision or comprehensive coverage will be explained.

This program series is made possible through a partnership with the Housing and Credit Counseling, Inc.

This program will be hosted using the On24 meeting software. A Johnson County Library staff member will contact registrants before the program via the email you registered with providing instructions on how to access the On24 meeting. You do not need to download any software or create an account.
