Nesting Fabric Baskets: Beginner Sewing Project

5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Central Resource Library

Create your own set of nesting fabric baskets. Participants will use a pattern to cut fabric and learn to assemble the baskets. A copy of the pattern will be provided for you to take home and can be used to create baskets of all sizes.

All skill levels are welcome. Basic knowledge of a sewing machine is recommended. If you are completely new to sewing, we suggest attending one of our “Intro to Sewing” offerings first. Our sewing machines will be available for use during the class or you can bring your own sewing machine.

For inquiries about accessibility and accommodations, please contact us at or 913-826-4600 at least two weeks before the event.
