Paper Making Workshop

1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Gardner Library

Description

This event has changed times in order to stagger patrons and give all attendees plenty of hands-on time with the project.

Get your hands messy and explore the art of paper-making in this hands-on workshop! Using freshly made pulp from a local paper maker, participants will learn the step-by-step process of crafting their own handmade paper. We’ll create custom screens and deckles to shape the paper, allowing each person to add their own artistic touch.

Registration is required and opens two weeks prior to each session.

For inquiries about accessibility and accommodations, please contact us at ask@jocolibrary.org or 913-826-4600 at least two weeks before the event.
