Curious about machine embroidery lettering? In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to create and customize stitched text using Ink/Stitch, a free, open-source embroidery design tool. We’ll explore the basics of working with fonts in a vector-based program, cover essential settings for clean lettering and walk through designing a simple text-based pattern. By the end, you’ll have a solid understanding of how to bring words and phrases to life – and the confidence to design your own custom embroidered lettering, perfect for use with the MakerSpace machines.
To ensure everyone has the chance to participate, we kindly ask that you reserve only one session of this workshop. This helps us keep spots open for others who are eager to join!
