This presentation brings together the dynamics of immigration told through the lens of visual art and poetry. It showcases an interactive exploration of a personal journey from the heart of Colombia to the heart of the United States, exploring the conundrum of belonging in unfamiliar surroundings while straddling two different cultures and narratives. Presented by José Faus, an independent teacher, artist and founder of the Latino Writers Collective in Kansas City. This program will be hosted on Zoom. A Johnson County Library staff member will email registrants the day before with online access instructions. No software download or account is required.
