Holden Harris is an autistic eighteen-year-old who is bullied at school. Ella Reynolds is the head cheerleader who befriends Holden but has problems of her own at home.
I couldn't stop reading this book. I was captured throughout the book by this story of an autistic boy and how music and a loving friend brings him out of (unlocks him from) his private world. A MUST READ!

I absolutely love this book! Such an amazing novel about the importance of reaching out to others even if they are different than you! I love how music and close friends help "unlock" the boy with autism in this heart-wrenching tale! A MUST READ!
Very touching, Very Cliche!! One thing my reading habits are not about however, is cliche!!

This is a great book. As a fifteen year old Christian, I don't usually like Kingsbury's books, but this book may very well be my favorite book ever. I also recommend "Heaven is for Real" which is the story of an almost four year old who visits Heaven.

Great book for parents and teachers-even for young adults who need to be made aware of differences among students.

this is a warm and touching story that makes the average reader aware of autism and the forms it can take. It also tackles the issue of bullying.
It is a lovely read.
I can relate to Holden, which allowed me to really get in to the book, I Loved it.
