It's like Murdoch Mysteries only sci-fi! Supernatural artefacts Dr Who clever technology sci-fi, not futuristic outer space aliens sci-fi, at least not yet. I think this is what The Librarians failed to be, and what Dr Who could be if it was not so British and proud of being incomprehensible. Safe for the whole family.

Well, I "liked" the earlier comments that I can resonate with. Ahhh, the distance to the airport, yes, well, uhmmm, Lets pretend they use that helicopter that Artie arrived in once or twice, and/or a private jet ;-) although it shows them arriving in their cars at times. Details, details ;-)

Enjoyed this first of five seasons. The idea that the warehouse is located South Dakota tickles me since I used to live in SD. However, having the warehouse in the badlands means that the nearest airport is in Rapid City - not exactly a busy airport to say the least. Ergo, if time is of the essence to investigate an artifact, that time is going be extended by however close the team can come to catching a plane going in the right direction to a major hub like O'Hare, Denver, Salt Lake City, or Minneapolis. Of course, since this is a tv show, they can invent an airline or two going directly to where ever the team needs to go to snag, bag, and tag the most recent artifact causing havoc in the world.

Secret Service agents Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering as well as their boss Artie Nielsen maintain Warehouse 13 and deal with all sorts of unique and paranormal artifacts. Season one explores Warehouse 13 which is secretly located in the badlands of SD. The artifacts stored in the warehouse are kept there to protect national security and public safety. Warehouse 13 agents and employees also discover and then secure missing, unique and paranormal artifacts. In addition Pete, Myka and Artie hunt down a former Warehouse 13 agent who has gone rogue.

I actually watched season 2 on-line before I saw this and fell in love with the show. The characters are all great, and no one takes themselves to seriously. The storyline is also lots of fun. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys science fiction with a sense of humor.
