Kit Livingstone's great-grandfather has reappeared with an unbelievable story. He claims the ley lines throughout Britain are not merely the stuff of legends, but truly are pathways to other worlds. So few people know how to use them, though, that doing so is fraught with danger.

I give this book a C. Its primary flaws are (1) it does not tell a complete story; (2) although an "adult" book it is simplistically written (had I encountered this book at age 13 I probably would have liked it); and (3) it wastes time giving useless details (I did not make note of a specific instance. however, 3/4s of the way through I began skimming those portions and felt it improved the book). The good things about the book is did provide a couple of small twists I did not see coming and it set up a potentially worthwhile female lead for the next book.
