A cute, feel good movie about treasuring people instead of money and things.

Jane Austen's "Sense And Sensibility" gets a modern, Hispanic retelling set in California. Nora is the practical, law student big sister, while Mary is the flighty teenager who lives to shop. When their father dies, they are forced to move in with their good hearted aunt in the seedy side of town.

At first, I thought this was going to be a disaster, but it's a surprisingly charming, sensitive, funny version of Austen's classic as the two sisters struggle back to their feet and learn that their richest heritage was never in money, but in their family and friends. Austen fans shouldn't miss this one.

Shows Mexican cultural aspect in USA. How you life can change in a blink of an eye. How can you adapt to new beginning. Partly lame scenes.

I liked this movie. I've read the comments and thought this movie was going to suck, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I expected this to be a light cheesy flick but hey, was pleasantly surprised by the cultural aspect. Being of a race in a porridge pot society I was charmed by the society within the society. I am actually not sorry that I viewed this.
