When Ellie, New York City's most enterprising dog walker, goes to see one of her clients perform in a show, the screams aren't just for the fantastic dance numbers-- a murder happens backstage, and the only witness is a dog named Bitsy. My suspension of disbelief is starting to wear thin with this series. Not because of the human-canine conversational bond Ellie shares with her pets (honestly, that’s my favorite part), but because of Ellie’s stubbornly solid “I am the only one who can possibly solve this case” blatant disregard for legalities and police procedure.

Good series. The premise is a bit cute (dog walker that can talk to dogs) but the writing/pacing/plotting stands up.
