A litany of criticisms against the self-help publishing mini-industry and their semi-scientific basis and an exposition and defense of the 'story editing' techniques backed up with some solid research (and where not so solid, it is admitted), make this book rather interesting and useful. The audiobook is a bit odd to listen to at times, as when it gives instructions for a questionnaire and its scoring.
