I like reading stories about/from celebrities. It was nice to learn more about Jillette even though I'm not sure I agree with his take on religion and athieism. Language warning.

Penn Jillette of the magic team of Penn and Teller makes an excellent case for those who have doubts about religion in general and what people have been taught and indoctrinated growing up in the various popular Judeo-Christian religions. He explains stories and tales about variious encounters with fanatical religious people he has known, loving stories about his family, and a great story about 24 Hassidic Jews who he helped start their journey away from religion by feeding them a serious "non-Kosher" feast, which they had asked him to do. All in all a good read for Atheists, Agnostics, and Believers too!

A strangely compelling argument for atheism, interspersed with provocative, scatalogical, pornographic, and - yes - deeply touching anecdotes from Jillette's childhood, entertainment career, and - now - experiences as a husband and father. Not for everyone - especially the easily shocked or offended - but this tome proves there's more to Penn than mere chicanery.
