First read this book back in middle school and was riveted to my seat the whole time, now rediscovering as an adult and just as good as I remembered it. A book where the teacher gets bumped off while in class is somehow quite an enthralling fantasy when you're young!

the first book of Sophie Knowles' mysteries; I had actually read the second one first. An okay cozy mystery, but not great. She is supposed to be an organized math nerd, but doesn't come off that way to me.
a murder on campus of a hated chemistry professor shakes up Henley college.

Pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading this book. Looking forward to reading her next book in the series.

I would read more if this became a series.
