A remake (1951) of a remake (1982). Lots of “Aliens” films special effects. The lack of creativity is stunning. Opening your eye wide and being tense is not scary. I love strong women characters, but I thought Kate (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) was miscast. I guess everyone can’t be Sigourney Weaver. Predictably dull and un-chilling.

This is a horrible remake, follows John Carpenter's 1982 version....

While the older version didn't have great special effects, it did have a great supporting cast with Kurt Russell.

This new installment has a full cast of unknowns...Carpenter's had an all male cast, this newer version adds 2 women who do absolutely nothing to help this film....I wish I could get the time I wasted back watching this film.
