First it took me a while to get used to the author's voice (NYC accent and slurring from dentures?) The story is ok except for all the name dropping and drug use. It was disappointing that she didn't fight to keep her child in the beginning and that she aborted a 2nd child because she didn't want to have more contact with its father. For somebody kind of funny looking, she sure dated a lot of guys.
