If you, like me, really enjoy the zany humour, as well as the fast-paced, over-the-top violence, of vintage cartoons, then this "Looney Tunes" Platinum Collection from Warner Bros.' is sure to please.

This priceless, 2-disc set contains 50, hilarious, full-colour cartoon shorts in all. Carefully culled from Warner Bros. "Golden Age of Animation" (1940's-1950's) , this first-rate collection features such cartoon superstars of yesteryear as - Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, and, of course, that lovable, little darling, Tweety bird, to name but a few.

So, get ready - Get set for over 6 hours of pure animation fun for all ages to enjoy - And see what cartoons were all about before CGI took over the helm in the realm of animated entertainment.

Be sure to watch the "Canned Feud" video that I've included here along with my comments.

Another good set of classic cartoons. Some of the more obscure stuff is on the second disc, but some real gems too. The first disc features a number of the big players getting their due. A toon featuring Daffy Duck interacting with Rooster Foghorn is unexpected and welcome, and the presence of a couple of Road Runner and Coyote cartoons works wonders, since Wile E. still rates as my favourite among these characters.
