Very good read for people that love history and are very patriotic such as myself.

I was underwhelmed. Author been drinking a bit too much american patriotic cool-aid (pretty one-sidedly pro gun) . Also not very well written. Was ghosted, i can only shudder at what it was before editing. *ut all in all worth a read if only to understand what is going on inside the mind of our good friends in the USA - and if you are interested in technology and innovation.* The irony is that the the gun espousing author was killed in peace time America by a crazy with a gun before the book was finished.

Pretty good easy to read book for those not already versed in firearms lore. It's written with a narrative style that might have been appropriate for older boys in decades past. But do teenage boys read books any more?.
This book is mainly an opinion, and laced pretty heavily with patriotic zeal. It's still a decent read on the subject.

Strictly a "personal opinion" type book, unfortunately blunted by quite a bit of misinformation!
