Red wolf: In the dark winter of northern Sweden, a journalist is murdered. Annika senses that the killing is linked to a terrorist attack 40 years ago, about which the journalist knew too much. Her investigation brings her into a world of old loyalties that began with the 1960s leftists and extends into the liberal government of today. -- Lifetime: Lonely and divorced, Annika spends most of her time at work to forget her private misfortunes. She reports on the strange case of a young female police officer who's accused of killing her policeman husband and hiding their young son. She also suspects that there's more to this story than an enraged wife. -- Annika travels to Costa del Sol, Spain, to cover a story about a Swedish family who was killed during a burglary. As she investigates, it becomes clear that the murders are connected to a drug trade that reaches from the hashish farms of Morocco to the streets of Sweden.

Subtitles! I hate them!

cyber14853ns Jul 23, 2015

Why do they make Ms AB lug around a heavy should bag all the time? That makes it very unsafe for her, considering the ways she works. All she uses is a notebook and a phone and only in one occasion a digital p&s camera. Now that she is under the new incompetent news floor manager, she (rather, the producers) should change her profession to become a junior police detective. At least she will have a gun when confronting all these 200-lb Swede males. Suffering all those kicks and punches and yet recover like nothing had happen is not very realistic. Overall this is a thoughtful, excellent series.
Is Series 3 forthcoming?

For those that can enjoy subtitles, this is one not to miss. As entertaining as "The Bridge"

The series is very well written and nicely filmed – enjoyed it very much- thank you for introducing this into the library system. p.s. It always amazes me that all good stuff (books, movies, music), come from overseas, and not from our continent? Do we lack imagination, or are we simply brained washed by all the low quality shows/movies/books that filter from States?
