I'm not so much into horror (and hence into Stephen King) as science fiction and fantasy (although I like some stories of the supernatural, ghost stories, etc., that could be described as "horror"). Nevertheless, I'm a big fan of this book. I think it's one of the best overviews of the fantasy/horror genres, with superb discussions of Ray Bradbury, Shirley Jackson, Harlan Ellison, Robert Louis Stevenson, and much more, written in King's lively, informal style.
