I found nothing redeeming about this book. A waste of time and money. Vanity publication.

I love just about anything Maira Kalman does (please do see her work on the Strunk & White classic "Elements of Style"), and this collaboration with poet Daniel Handler and the Museum of Modern Art is par for my course. Using photographs from MOMA's vernacular collection, Handler opines and Maira redecorates.

I'm sure there are undertones and literary meanings to be found and felt; I just liked the combination of words and illustrations and let the joy wash over me.
