Engaging, wise, and wonderful stories by a gifted writer; an even more enjoyable read than Herriot's first book, "All Creatures Great and Small", which I loved.

A very enjoyable read. One really gets the feel for what Yorkshire was like at the time and also what it was like to be a vet. I really enjoyed this one! I highly recommend it.
