This book was full of adventure and emotion, and I really liked the alternating voices of Pax the fox and his boy, Peter. Pax (the book) left me with a lot of unanswered questions to ponder, and a newfound admiration for foxes.

Pennypacker's book is the newest addition to my list of favorite reads. 12-year-old Peter and little-Pax-The-Fox is in the centre for war as Pax is forced to pull away from his boy. Pax wonders if he will ever see his boy again. If he will die from hunger or being hunted. But Peter? He faces many troubles, but he also believes that he and Pax are inseparable. While Peter faces pain and need of quick wits.
