Review by Jorge, a teen at North County Regional:

"Battlesaurus: Rampage of Waterloo by Brian Falkner seems to have quite the artificial, imaginary title. When first looking at the title, one would think that this book is meant for a five year old's dream. However this book easily connects with anyone who is a history and science junkie. Falkner connects the massive destructive genes of dinosaurs with the wrath of Napoleon. This book makes for the perfect "what if" story connecting Napoleon's leadership of the French Empire to dinosaur anarchy.
Falkner uses imagery to create the tension and climax of the Battle of Waterloo. If Napoleon wins this battle, then the possibility of Napoleon ruling the world becomes a reality. Little does this emperor know, there is a boy that lives in a village outside of Waterloo that plans to ruin the emperor's tyranny. Willem has the power to save his village and this will cause a bloody fight in the fields of Waterloo. There will be violence for those who love action-packed books!

Reading this book is a thriller for me. I recommend the book for anyone who enjoys a mix of sci-fi and history. Falkner revolutionizes modern sci-fi with the mix of history. I wouldn't be surprised if this book becomes a movie in the future due to its probability to become popular."
