US does not deal with its poor in a justifiable way

I was a little disappointed by this book. A look into the Avery/Dassey cases and the legal system in general through the eyes of a couple of attorneys teaming up for the defense.

Somehow the book made what should be the most riveting (the actual courtroom activity) into something that was dull and uninteresting to read.

Since this book was written by one of the attorneys for the defense, I can imagine there are some aspects of the case that they care not to comment on.

There are several books out now that cover the case from all angles. Maybe this book will fare better after I have read some others about the case.
