Veronica: We don't have to do this, Ashley.
Ashley: My spirit is broken. My heart is filled with hate. I have nothing left but to destroy you.

Most people will not want to watch a movie like this. The fighting scenes are graphic.
Definitely has some Kill Bill vibes as well.
The DVD extras has an interesting video on the fighting choreography.
bad just a bad film, very little story and none of it good, a real waste of film
A bit of an on the nose satire about the pervasiveness of violence in modern society where two mortal friendenemies who are both war profiteers in their way take out their personal grievances out on each other in a series of brutal fistfights with devastating personal consequences which only serves to create even more violence later. The film points to a very cruel world where everyone from the President down to the lowly assistant in an art gallery can be vicious jerks in their turn. Sandra Oh and Anne Heche really give it their all in their performances but their protracted fights are a little too cartoonish and too overlong to be interesting or watchable. The kapow chopsocky sound effects for every landed punch makes it uncertain if the violence is suppose to be funny or tragic. Not a perfect film but oddball enough to merit a watch.
Turned if off after a short time. What a waste.
Catfight follows two former friends who find themselves on opposite ends of the social spectrum – one mostly privileged and the other momentarily broke. After an ultraviolent fight, their fates change, giving this very off balance film a bizarrely symmetrical plot that stresses how slippery the tumble is the from the top and how low we can fall. Not a film for everyone, but it is something new and something bold, and it sees its ideas through to the end. Also, Anne Heche and Sandra Ho are spectacular.
Roomate was watching this movie, and I happened to walk by....I didn't leave the room, and the film kept my interest. And I suck at sitting to watch movies.
A scathing satire on the state of American life and values. This film is very over the top. If you are easily offended, you might not like this film, which is a dark comedy. Personally, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Two old college "friends" run into each other after many years and cannot seem to see eye-to-eye on anything and embark on an epic cat fight, violent and disturbing scenes to follow.
Not a fan of this movie.
