The teacher/grandmother in me enjoys reading fiction that incorporates peoplse who journey through life with some version of autism. This book was a disappointment at best, disgusting at worst.
I put the author's writing ability at average. But I couldn't stomach the mother figure; I should have been able to relate to her and root for her as a caring parent, but her loose morals and critical spirit became intolerable and I couldn't finish the book.
