This baking book is pretty superficially Jewish, and superficially baker-oriented. The recipes are all written by volume and not by weight, even though the author suggests having a scale in order to weigh out equal challah strands (?!). There are some creative ideas here, but overall I'd skip this and pick up Stanley Ginsberg's "Inside the Jewish Bakery" or Maggie Glezer's "A Blessing of Bread" if you are looking to bake some bread with a Jewish root.
