And the saga continues . . . to be as excellent as ever.

The scene where Hazel asks Petrichor about her penis is a real gem.

One of the greatest Graphic Novels of our time continues. Twists and horror have dragged the family apart, and this novel sees them simply trying to keep their family together again. Fiona Staples art continues to bring this epic story to life. A new world and a new setting continues to bring new life and interest to this Space Opera.

Saga Volume 8 continues the story with some a wild west setting that has little short comings. Hazel's beginning of her narrative was a little, but it was still one of the best part of the story. The ending was pretty light hearted, but the fate of certain character's keeps the you pulled in for the future of this series.

Can always count on these to pull me right back into the story no matter how long after reading the last one, never a dull moment and the dialogue is just perfect.

Volume 8 opens with a sign saying "Welcome to Abortion Town," a panel as heartbreaking as it is darkly funny and absurd. This is probably the most heart-wrenching arc of the series so far. Saga pushes the bounds of imagination and reality, while simultaneously being the realest, most human story.
