Pontifical author condescends to enlighten lesser beings.
--- Warns against ad hominem arguments: a chronic liar and scoundrel may be right this time.
--- Upholds hypocrisy and inconsistency. Normal people are muddled and contradict themselves. Only fanatics can keep their story straight. (pp 67-68)
--- Rejects every other feasible way of evaluating anything. Believe nothing you see or hear: everything can be manipulated. Do not weigh credibility: that's ad hominem. Beware any thinking whatever: it might be illogical. Better to reach no judgment at all than risk committing an embarrassing fallacy.
