#8 - There is a lot to say about this one, but I will try to sum it up by saying it delivered the things I was looking for in this "sort-of-culmination" of 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Avengers: Endgame coming this year, it will take some time to judge this film appr... Read More »
Where the previous Avengers movies have struggled to balance all of the different superheroes, this one is so balanced even Thanos would be proud. This movie has no right to work as well as it does, and it's a truly remarkable payoff to 10 years of Marvel movies.

Hear me... and rejoice. You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Titan... You may think this is suffering... No. It is salvation... Universal scales, tipped toward balance because of your sacrifice... Smile, for even in death you have become children of Thanos.

Comment
Add a CommentAwesome! I loved this movie so much! so many awesome actors and characters! its definitely in top five MCU movies!
its better than end game.
An excellent but far from perfect culmination of ten years' buildup; I would call this about the sixth best MCU film, as its extremely busy narrative both ratchets up the stakes and undermines the achievements of previous entries, with a lot of Because Plot happening, and far too much sound and fury in many action setpieces to make them anything other than noise. I will echo what many others have said before me - Thanos's "idealistic" goal is nonsensical, and the conversion of one of Marvel's most hideous classic villains into a rather stupid attempt at a "well-intentioned extremist" is a distinctly flawed effort (more than anything else about the two-part story, this is what we needed Endgame for, as the version in that film actually comes across as a "bad guy", instead of the weirdly half-sympathetic one we see in this film). It has a lot of strong elements, but could definitely have been improved upon. Still, at the end of the day, it's an Avengers film, and all but one of those has been in the 99th percentile of awesomeness compared to everything Hollywood has ever produced. Do see it, but expect some frustrations.
I loved this movie. Except for the sad parts. (No spoilers). Although, Thanos's view of humanity doesn't make sense.
This movie was awesome!!!!!!! Probably my favorite MCU movie. It was super cool and had a really good plot. Can't wait until Endgame!!
It pays off to the audience with such great scenes that you don't want to miss.
