DraculaBook - 2011
From Library Staff
The original Vampyre, no other compares for me. I love Stoker's narrative style and his fantastically spooky, complex and ultra creepy Dracula.
First published in 1897, Dracula by Bram Stoker has become the standard against which all other vampire stories are compare and the inspiration for countless film and stage adaptations.
This doodle appeared on Nov. 8, 2012 in honor of the author's 165th birthday.
Written entirely in journal entries, "Dracula" starts as an account of Jonathan Harker's journey through a picturesque countryside, then quickly descends into horror.
