After seeing the performance of The Lion King at the Paramount, I was hungry for a book that would show the amazing costumes in detail. This book is the book I was wanting. Written by the director of the play and conceptualizer-in-chief, the book is full of sketches and color photographs of the uniquely creative costumes. It also gives information about how the Broadway play developed and changed from the original animated movie. I would've liked even more detail but I was thrilled with what this book offers. It is the epitome of creativity.
