This is the explosive biography of one of the world's most controversial leaders, Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, by two of that country's leading journalists and authors. Kaspit and Kfir were given access to Netanyahu's diary and the prime minister himself as well as his intimate friends, political allies, and many critics.

This complex tale ranges from Netanyahu's "baptism of fire" in Israel's most elite secret commando unit to his admission on live television that he cheated on his wife. It is filled with behind-the-scenes stories and revelations about the youngest Israeli premier ever, a controversial man both loathed and admired.

A Sabra (native born), Bibi grew up in an extreme right-wing home. He broke all academic records at MIT and planned a business career in the United States and Israel until the tragic death of his older brother at the hands of terrorists during the Entebbe hostage crisis. He returned home determined to become prime minister of Israel.

Eight years after ending his career as ambassador to the United Nations, Bibi successfully worked himself up to a top position in his political party, the Likud, to compete against prominent ministers and generals for the leadership. He beat them all. He rehabilitated the party after its defeat in the 1992 elections and finally, against all expectations, he succeeded in defeating Shimon Peres and became prime minister.

Netanyahu is also the story of the women in his life: his first girlfriend in the youth movement in Jerusalem, who married him after he finished his military service; a witty young American, who fell in love with him, converted for his sake, and became his second wife; and Sara, histhird wife, whom he betrayed with a beautiful lover.
