2nd book in the series. You get a lot of the back history of the people in the books. This book had more suspense and less humor than I hoped for.
"Pistol-packing Grandma Mazur" is very distracting and certainly not a hoot. I have been told she is a part of all the books in the series. The stupid humor is not worth my time. "Hilarious" this book is not.
This book was very entertaining. Almost all of the characters were hysterical and the plot was great. Stephanie Plum is one of my favorite protagonists: funny, attractive, tough, smart, insecure, full of chutzpah-- in other words, quite human and likable. Janet Evanovich is very funny, and her books are practically a laugh a page, even when she writes about violence and gore. This is the second book that I have read in the Stephanie Plum series, and I plan to read the rest of the series.
Another fun, fast read in the Stephanie Plum series. Love Morelli and Stephanie's grandma!
Laugh out loud funny.
good book but i liked the 1st one more but her grandma mauzur is a hoot.
Good book. Not as good as the first one, though. Not as laugh-out-loud funny, although I loved Grandma Mazur in this one!
