I would not like to recommend this book to those who like to read action, mystery, and suspenseful books. It was a great disappointment to me because based on the blurb, it seems like it has action, mystery, and suspense. The Gadget is about a 13 year old boy named Stephen Orr. His father works at a base in New Mexico and are planning a weapon that they call "the gadget". This will use this weapon to end WWII. Overall, this book is kind of dull and action-less.
