“When in doubt, go to the library.”
Harry, Ron, and Hermione: The Golden Trio, the best friends in the wizarding world. Watch as Harry and his friends navigate their first year at Hogwarts, learn about magic, and uncover the mystery of the Dark Lord Voldemort.
Best ugly Christmas sweater ever made with Weasley charms (see what I did there?).
"Obviously," we must include our first taste of Rickman as Professor Snape.

I watched it after later sequels, a vintage feel though, the best, a classic with the foundation and style set for all. Leading characters are especially endearing in their cutest young and incipient magic.
Behind the scenes interview on book adaptation, actor scout; Program series on magic, creature, animal, dark power, sets, special effects... a feast only on DVD series.

Movie 1
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone did an excellent job of bringing to life the beloved novel. Like all movies, certain parts of the book had to be cut out; however, it held the same storyline and adventure. The actors and actresses were perfectly cast for the roles of each character, which easily transports the audience to Hogwarts! I very much recommend that you watch this movie! There is magic, adventure, friendship, and so much more! Furthermore, the mystery, shock, and awe, will keep you on the edge of your seat! This is a movie for people of all ages! 5/5

Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone is the adaptation of the first of J.K. Rowling’s popular novels. The movie is about a boy, Harry Potter, who learns on his eleventh birthday that is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. He is brought to Hogwarts, an English boarding school for wizards. There, he meets several friends who will become is closet allies and help him discover the truth about his parents’ deaths, why he is a special wizard, and what secret is being kept from the students. This movie astounded me as a child and still makes me smile to this day. Chris Columbus did an amazing job directing the first movie. The only minor issue was the CGI quality but that’s what you get when watching a film from 2001. I’d highly rec
ommend this to any age even though the target audience was for children. Rating – 5/5. @Average_Bookworm of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
Not my favorite Harry Potter movie but it's the first and it's still super good. Anyone should watch this if they love Harry Potter.
Also if you don't love Harry Potter than that is just wrong. Sorry but it's true ;)
The first movie is really good but the book is a bit better but I still loved it so much. But the actors look more like ten or nine then eleven but that's fine because the movie is so good
I loved it soooooo much.
the best movie start off but is was just the begining
Great movie, like all the movies in this series. They did a great job of bringing the books to life .
It brought what we have been imagining to life!
