The best Potter film, and the only one that stands on its own merit. You don't need to have read the book to understand it.
Movie 3
Harry, Ron, and Hermione are at it once more in the third installment of the Harry Potter series! Filled with fantasy, thriller, drama, and mind-bending events, this movie simply became as amazing as any other! I genuinely enjoyed this film because it was filled with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. The film became so dramatic and engaging that I truly couldn’t keep myself from watching it over and over again! Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is an antique and I would truly propose it to anyone who is already a fan of Harry Potter and to folks that are interested in magic and puzzles! 5/5 stars

This is probably one of the best movies of the Harry Potter series. It is entertaining, interesting, and intriguing. There are so many shocking moments and new developments that add to the overall experience. I love how there are so many little clues that go unnoticed throughout the film, but are later brought to view. This movie is so smart and clever, and will leave you in awe! It is a worthy depiction of the book, along with J.K. Rowling’s intricate story lines. The acting, plot, and special effects are untouchable! I highly recommend that you add this to your shelf! 5/5

Harry Potter’s third year at Hogwarts starts off badly when he learns that deranged killer Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban prison and is bent on murdering the teenage wizard. While Hermione’s cat torments Ron’s sickly rat, causing a rift among the trio, a swarm of dementors is sent to protect the school from Black. A mysterious new teacher who disappears once a month helps Harry learn to defend himself, but what is his secret tie to Sirius Black? Out of all the Harry Potter movies (and even books) this is my favourite. The crew created an excellent plot and used amazing graphics. The cast was also very well thought out with Sirius Black being played by Gary Oldman and Remus Lupin played by David Thewlis. The plot kept me wanting more and made me question everything I though I knew from the beginning of the film. The series got a little bit darker and there is some imagery that children may find disturbing. Rating – 5/5.
