Andrew is a moderately successful TV actor living in Los Angeles. He hasn't been home to the Garden State in nine years. Even the 3,000 miles has not seperated him from the domineering father Andrew left. Stunned to find himself home for his mother's funeral, "Large" finds old acquaintances around every corner, even as he does his best to avoid the inevitable confrontation with his father. By a twist of fate Large meets Sam, a girl who is everything he isn't. Her warmth and fearlessness gives Large the courage to open his heart to the joy and pain that is life.

Generally, a good movie about human relationships that can sometimes go awry .

N.B.: Some expletives and sexual scenes...

Not a Comedy. Not Hysterical. Definitely dark and a more than a little bit sad.

Solid, underrated movie.

This movie is definitely niche I think, but I really loved it.

You have to be between 15 and 25 in order to find any semblance of value in this movie.

Our generation's "The Graduate." That is, if "The Graduate" was twee, irritating and starred that jerk from "Scrubs." Made The Shins rich.

I love this movie, one of my favs Zach Braff did great for his first film ( writing and directing). It's quirky, fun, sometimes sad and seems pretty realistic. And the soundtrack is pretty awesome too.

Dreadful cookie cutter "indie" film. Portman wears big ear phones and likes lots of 'indie' music. I like low key movies but I didn't like Braff and I didn't like Portman. The writing was obvious and boring.

A fantastic coming-of-age movie that is at once funny and intellectual. Great acting by Zack Braff and Natalie Portman

Sam: If you can't laugh at yourself, life is going to seem a whole lot longer than you'd like.
