Clever, fun and very enjoyable. the kid has a unbreakable love for his mother, and faces some tough challenges. Somehow stays focused and on task. I know I will watch this one again someday and enjoy it all over again

Not a bad story. It's nice too see clergy working around kids and for once not bothering them.

Excellent movie about a young Catholic boy trying to save his comatose mother by the miracle of winning the Boston Marathon. Along the way, his obstacles are the priests at his school, some schoolmates & his impurity ("self abuse" he calls it). A couple subplots are him seeking the love of a girl who wants to be a nun and also trying to make sure he stays out of the radar of children's services as he's secretly living by himself while his mother is in the hospital. I have to say I didn't expect much going in but this movie was so charming. Ralph is amusing and charming. I found myself actually paying attention and not distracted by all the things I had to do. The ending wasn't the greatest but the journey through the movie was enjoyable.
