This is a great book, even if you do not like ballet.

I like it because it is cool how she has been a Dancer all her life.:)

To dance shows the struggles of a ballerina, but also shows that the reason why we dance is because it fills a space in people. I think that means a lot to ballet dancers everywhere. Not just ballet dancers, but all kinds of dancers who sacrificed their childhood to become a professional. (I`ve probably read To Dance a thousand times already.) (heh heh)

this is beautiful. same as the comment below me, I read it when I was 8 (loved it back then too) and a few years later, I found it again. And here I am in 2016 still loving this book.

I read this book for the first time when I was 5 or 6 years old. Now, when I read it again about a decade later, I still remember my dreams of being a prima ballerina. This is a wonderful book, and I am glad to have read this.
