This compilation CD of 17 "Elton John" songs spans the years from 1970-1994.

I think that most people are probably very familiar with these pop songs of John's.

This "Rocket Man - Number Ones" CD contains 17 tracks in all which are widely considered to be some of Elton John's best musical offerings from the years 1970-1994.

Most of these tunes were, of course, a joint songwriting collaboration between pianist/singer, Elton John and his favorite lyricist, Bernie Taupin.

Absolutely terrible! The acting was really sad - no talent whatsoever. Am VERY glad I didn't see/pay for this at a movie theatre!

If you wanna hear a really good sample of some of Elton John's best songs from the first 20 years of his enduring musical career (1970-1990), then this "Rocket Man" CD is sure to whet your whistle.

Born in London, England (in 1947) - Elton John (aka. Sir Elton "Hercules" John) is a multiple music-award winner whose records, to date, have sold nearly 300 million copies, worldwide.

This "Best Of" CD contains 16 tracks in all. Their lyrics were all written by Elton John's talented music-collaborator, Bernie Taupin.

3 of my favourite tunes in this collection are - Tiny Dancer, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, and Little Jeannie.... (*Watch music-video*)

Born Reginald Kenneth Dwight in 1947, Elton John's career as one of pop music's most persistent and prolific singer/song-writers has endured now for five decades.

A 6-time Grammy Award-winner, Elton John (who sexually came out of the closet in the 1980's) has had more than 50 top 40 hits (between the years 1970-1994) and his records have collectively sold over 250 million copies, worldwide.

Many of Elton John's biggest and most memorable hits were co-written with his one-time song-collaborator, lyricist, Bernie Taupin.

This "Rocket Man" CD contains seventeen tracks in all, including such unforgettable tunes as - Bennie & The Jets, Tiny Dancer, Daniel, and Philadelphia Freedom, to name but a few.

In 2009 Elton John's personal wealth was estimated at being approx. $300 million (US).
