I love old movies, and I love mysteries, so I really enjoy this series. Each DVD also has interviews/commentary on e.g. the actors and the social context in which the films were made. Really fascinating.

"Charlie Chan in Paris", 1935, stars Swedish actor Warner Oland as Charlie Chan. The whole world loved his rendition of the famous detective from Honolulu. This mystery is good but whatever does it have to do with Paris? No one speaks French, just English. You don't even have a complimentary shot of the Eifel Tower.
