I loved this book so much that I had repeated 'driveway moments' where I would arrive home, or to work and just sit there, listening rather than going in. It's a beautiful, funny, touching memoir of a very different place. It was a double bonus that Helene Cooper reads the audio version and thus gives voice to the Liberian English that I would never have been able to imagine if I only read it.
