enjoyed this book. Rambled on at times, but still a good read

I found this book both enjoyable and also irritating and shallow. I connected with the main character (Janie, a widowed mother of two young children) but the narrative broke down toward the end when the solution seemed to be to simply hook up with the next nice guy in her life. I wanted her to enter her grief, find some redemptive solution. Maybe it's because the "nice guy" was not particularly likeable.
Three out of five stars.

One of the best books I have read recently. a story of young mother's way of dealing with the loss of her husband. how she copes with the help of friends and people who come into her life unexpectedly. very realistic and heart touching. This was a book I couldn't put down and hated to see come to an end. the first book by this author. I hope she has written more since this one...

Wonderful book. I love it, it's still one of my favorites. Of course, it's most definitely a romance (without being too mushy), but Janie also really learns about herself and how to cope along the way. I would recommend it, absolutely!
