The information about what foods are in the same family is useful, but honestly, how can you call yourself and allergy-free cookbook when many of the recipes contain allergens!

I made the chocolate cake (with rice flour and no eggs/dairy) and it turned out pretty good.

Lavish use of honey and maple syrup, in recipes where, because fruit is added, I don't add extra sweetener of any sort. (And are you aware of the cost of maple syrup these days?) If you are new to a diagnosed food allergy, this book would be a help. It suggests substitutes. Otherwise you probably already know how to eat to avoid your allergens.
