Ellie can be described as dark, troubled and broken, and after she dies of an overdose, mysterious. Now all that's felt of her is 34 pieces of paper that hold her secrets. Not a fan of this book. It didn’t feel like there was a plot and the whole concept that this book was supposed to be based on didn’t even really happen. Besides starting each chapter with one of the pieces of paper, the box is only brought up at the end and it's never explained. There was also other parts of the book that never got explained, and also the book jumped between three characters and jumped between too many time periods to really understand the book.
