Catalyst is the last book in the trilogy, written by S.J Kincaid, the first book being Insignia and the second being Vortex. This book is an amazing conclusion to the trilogy, as questions are answered, and all ends are tied up. As the characters' true intentions and secrets are revealed, things heat up in the life of Tom Raines, the seventeen year old main character. Tom Raines is facing against more than he can handle, as he grows to be very independent and passionate about his freedom. As the trilogy ends, all the characters face their own conflicts and grow together to create an amazing conclusion to the fantastic trilogy. Overall, this book is the perfect ending to Tom’s journey, with 5/5 stars I recommend this book to 13 year olds and older. - @Because_Logic of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
