This book did a great job telling the story of the three men that died during Freedom Summer. Everything was well written, and despite being slow at times it was still very interesting to read. It provides great context around the story and illustrates the injustices during the civil rights movement. Not only do you learn the story about what happened during Freedom Summer, but also the people behind the project and the people behind the crime. I would recommend this if you are interested in history or the civil rights movement.
