A fairly good history of the recent boom in knitting and design due to the internet, which is actually a good thing to document. Especially how the Net let designers sell directly to the public without being controlled by yarn manufacturers has changed everything for knitting design. Also how the Net has enabled individual yarn dyers to connect around the world with customers, with freedom to try new colourways, and breed-specific yarns. That has had a huge, positive impact on small sheep breeders, and rare sheep breeds. However the endless name-dropping struck me more of a vanity project for the author.
