I wasn't sure what to expect out of this book, but I wasn't disappointed. It's a very human account of Coppola's thoughts and predictions about cinema. As a filmmaker, I was especially inspired by the appendix, where he shares personal notes he took during his live cinema workshops with students. My favorite thing about this book is that you get a real sense of Coppola's personality and character. Although it isn't a chronicle of his career, and it's hard to say who the intended audience is, it's wonderful have a look into the humanity of such an iconic director!
